Jeremy Clarestarted his working life in the 1960s, travelling the world as a graduate civil engineer in military uniform. By the time he finished the "employed" part of his career in 1994 he was an account manager working for an innovative, ground-breaking change consultancy in West London. The many changes involved en route included some significant personal transitions, mostly self-inflicted!
He ran his own business for 6 years until July 2000 as a sole practitioner, but also in associate relationship with a number of organisations who worked with the changes taking place in people's lives, organisationally or individually. Subsequently he established the company"Whatever Next....?" to develop further the principles which lie behind the original workshops, started with Mike O'Sullivan in 1995. Jeremy now has 12 Associates with him in the business in 2006.
He is to be found in a variety of locations on different days: City-based, office-based, seminar-based or preferably "away from it all" in the countryside, working with clients who want the space and time to think more deeply, not faster!
Clients include a very wide mixture of individuals from all walks of life and also some corporate and organisational clients looking for team building or envisioning help for all or part of their particular enterprise. These organisations range all the way from Blue Chip corporate workshops to Parochial Church Council awaydays (and the blue chip work is often more straightforward!).
Jeremy enjoys helping people integrate the different parts of their lives more successfully. The pressures on both our work and our so-called leisure time seem to grow by the month, often strangely outside our control, or so it seems. Most of us have a desire to "get things together" more satisfactorily. But how?
His work with "Whatever Next....?" reflects his desire that the people he meets will find a greater sense of purpose and direction in life, as well as finding the right employment!
Jeremy is married to Kate, a special needs teacher with extraordinary skills. They live in Buckinghamshire, England and have three grown-up children. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and a qualified counsellor.
